Susan is an eDiscovery subject matter expert and an evangelist for the advancement of technology in the legal profession. She works with enterprise corporations and law firms to maximize efficiencies that enable the delivery of quality legal services through technology and teams. As the President of TechRochester, her goal is to foster a sense of community by inspiring and empowering the Region’s tech companies to engage with our organization. Susan is charged with growing TechRochester through our established Pillars: Collaboration, Connection, Celebration and being a Trusted Resource.

ABOUT MARK

As co-owner and Executive Vice President of Entre Computer Services, Mark has been involved in the technology business for almost 40 years. As an experienced IT Leader, he helps his clients align IT Strategy with Business Objectives. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from RIT where he later co-founded and served on the RIT Alumni Advisory Board for more than 10 years. Mark has been a Corporate Partner for over 20 years and a member of the Tech Rochester Board for the past two. His company founded the Technology Woman of the Year Award and continues to be a major sponsor of that event.

ABOUT KATHLEEN

Dr. Kathleen Fear is the Director of Data & Analytics for the UR Health Lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center. The UR Health Lab is the health system’s digital health incubator and is transforming the way data science is being used in medicine by developing novel tools that capture new data streams, analyze previously unseen patterns and enable health care providers to provide individualized treatments that are more responsive, effective and precise. Dr. Fear leads a team of data analysts, data scientists, and clinicians to leverage big data and artificial intelligence to develop new clinical decision support systems and improve the care delivered in our community.

As the Director of Product Management at ITX, he oversees the development and implementation of company-wide product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical capabilities. With over 20 years of product leadership experience, he has a proven track record of delivering outstanding results across multiple organizations in Scaled Agile software development environments. He leads full-stack product Scrum teams, managing cross-functional collaboration, portfolio planning, risk mitigation, and product launch execution. He is a tireless advocate for user-centric design, crafting transformative learning experiences. Also, he is a lifelong learner, holding an MBA and a BFA, and an Adjunct Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he teaches, sharing his insights and best practices with the next generation of product professionals. His mission is to make an indelible impact on technology and design, empowering high-performing teams with ambitious, mission-driven goals in the ever-evolving product innovation landscape.

Meghan Plate is a higher education professional with a knack for connecting people. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Education Core of UR Health Lab. She is passionate about higher education, accessibility, the practice of mentorship, transdisciplinary research/projects, dismantling hierarchy, and how tech plays into various aspects of higher ed. She holds a BA from Nazareth College and a Master of Arts degree in American Studies from The George Washington University, and will happily read anything put in front of her.

Aleksandar Nikolic is a corporate and intellectual property attorney, admitted to practice law in New York and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Aleksandar has worked with a diverse group of clients including startups and small businesses, research institutions, and publicly traded companies to help them obtain, protect, and commercialize their intellectual assets. His practice includes all aspects of patent, trademark, and copyright law, and he works with startups on a variety of business issues. Aleksandar is the Chair of the Monroe County Bar Association Technology and Law Committee.

Sriram Atchutuni (he/him) currently works as the MBA Director for Consulting at the Simon School of Business, University of Rochester. He focusses his time and energy teaching and coaching students as they seek careers in management consulting and technology fields. Prior to this, Sriram held several senior leadership roles in managing sales, business development and marketing at various multinational SaaS and IoT technology firms. He holds an MBA from University of Rochester and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Utah.

ABOUT YASMIN

Raised in Harlem, NYC, Yasmin Mattox moved to the Rochester area after earning her Bachelor’s degree from Alfred University, recognizing the promise of the Greater Rochester area for young professionals.

Trained in the social sciences, specifically Political Science and then International Affairs, Mattox is an interdisciplinary professional and entrepreneur who has worked in the legal, mental health, renewable energy (hydrogen fuel cell), consulting, and higher education fields. She now serves as Director at University of Rochester’s Barbara J. Burger iZone, a programming and services hub that helps student innovators and changemakers accelerate the positive impact they have in the world, often starting with the communities closest to them.

Mattox is an active member of the community, assisting civic and cultural organizations such as Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Rochester Chapter, as Vice President, TechRochester as Member at Large, Rochester Police Foundation as Secretary, and others, both within and outside of the Greater Rochester area.

Jennifer Sertl, an acclaimed strategy consultant and social media influencer, is the president and founder of Agility3R, a company focused on enhancing leadership through resilience, responsiveness, and reflection. With her extensive expertise, Sertl co-authored notable works including Strategy Leadership and the Soul and Upstate Founders Playbook and was recognized by Hatch A Better World as one of the top 100 innovative thinkers in 2013. In addition to her leadership roles, she contributes her strategic insights as the Director of Marketing at Circle Optics, the pioneer behind the only seamless 360 imaging system camera, aimed at revolutionizing robotics and aerospace safety. Through her influential role at Circle Optics, Sertl champions the integration of advanced panoramic camera technology to ensure the autonomy and safety of terrestrial and airborne systems.

ABOUT HOLLY

Holly is a marketing and communications strategist who helps companies and leaders grow. She is currently the Director of Marketing at NextCorps where she manages a family of 9 brands, including international and regional programs that help tech entrepreneurs launch successful companies and New York manufacturers increase revenues and profits. She’s also an adjunct professor at St. John Fisher University’s Institute for Civic and Community Engagement.

We are seeking talented individuals for the below positions:

Signature Program Director

This individual will Project Manage our team for the signature GREAT Awards event and support the Technology Woman of the Year event team. Project Management or events management experience is preferred.

Community Event Liaison

This individual is responsible for keeping a pulse on Tech events in the community and sharing this information with our membership through our Website and Newsletter.

Director of Corporate Partnerships

This individual is responsible for finding opportunities to grow our corporate partner membership. A sales background is preferred.
