Reagan Burns

Director of Digital Marketing Peer Group

Reagan is the Owner and Art Director of Lime Creative, which she founded in February 2009. Lime Creative focuses on concept-driven campaigns and design, using nontraditional approaches to help clients solve their problems while achieving their goals. Lime Creative focuses on website development, brand identity, print design, marketing, and SEO. Reagan holds a BFA in Graphic Design and Marketing from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Brian Carroll

Director at Large

Brian is an accomplished business professional with over a decade of experience in Human Resources services, with a specific focus in Talent Acquisition. He is the Managing Director of Genuent, a leading privately held staffing firm focused on providing top IT Talent.  Brian supports business growth by driving service delivery for clients throughout the Northeast. His expertise as a workforce consultant has impacted the growth of many local and national firms, including fortune 100 firms. Brian holds a BS in Business Administration from SUNY Cortland. Brian is currently Past President and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Member with TechRochester. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Rochester Regional Photonics Cluster and is a Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 Honoree.

Cindi Crowley

Director of Volunteers

Cindi Crowley, founder of Sales360plus, is natural leader with determination and passion. She has devoted her career to all aspects of sales roles from doing it, to being it, to teaching it. With more than 20 years of sales experience, Cindi has worked with sales leaders, executives and individual contributors, building high performing sales organizations and consistently exceeding corporate objectives.

Taking a sales team to the next level is Cindi’s strength and dedication. She has coached hundreds of professionals utilizing a focused approach to quickly uncover “performance gaps”, and developed customized solutions that successfully aligned with company goals. Her previous experience as Director of Sales at Time Warner Cable Business Class, tw telecom and Regional Trainer at Windstream has provided the essential suite of services to help companies achieve results through improved performance.

Giving back to the community is one of Cindi’s top priorities. She is currently on the board, serving as Director for Volunteers at Tech Rochester, Chairperson of Finance for Rochester Women’s Network, an 11-year veteran as a tax preparer and trainer for C.A.S.H organization, a 3-year veteran for the Fairy Godmother of Rochester, and several other committees that have helped Rochester grow.

Cindi has a BS degree from SUNY @Oswego and an MBA degree from St. John Fisher College.

Briget Grbic

Technology Leaders Peer Group

Briget Grbic is VP, Imagery Acquisition & Execution for Eagleview where she plays a leadership role helping to maintain and optimize operation of Eagleview aircraft and camera assets in the collection and delivery of superior aerial imagery for clients across the US and Canada. In this role, Briget oversees the Eagleview PMO and works closely with cross-functional teams serving customers in the Government, Insurance, Energy, and Construction industries delivering and developing cutting-edge imagery products, property reports, and industry workflows based on Eagleview’s extensive network of partners and growing expertise in machine learning and AI. She holds an MBA from the University of Rochester. Briget started her career as an environmental engineer and has a Bachelor’s of Science in engineering from Cornell University. In her free time, Briget and her two daughters enjoy spending time outdoors and taking advantage of the wonderful resources in Rochester.

Briget leads the Technology Leaders Peer Group at TechRochester, which is focused on raising awareness and educating the Rochester community about emerging technologies and providing a forum for sharing ideas and concerns, especially targeted towards CIO’s and tech entrepreneurs.

Karl Heberger

Director of Technology Infrastructure & Marketing

Karl Heberger is the Chief Strategy Officer at Mason Digital, a full-service digital marketing firm in Penfield, NY. He has over nineteen years of experience building strategic and results-focused digital marketing solutions for clients in a wide array of industries. While well rounded in a multitude of digital marketing tools, platforms, and techniques; Karl’s focus on analytics has proven to be a differentiator for a growing list of clients interested in measurable and accountable advertising initiatives.

Karl heads up marketing and technology for TechRochester. It was under his direction that the technology association rebranded from Digital Rochester to TechRochester in 2018.

Ana Liss

Director of Diverse Audiences

Ana Liss serves as Managing Director of Business Development at Greater Rochester Enterprise (GRE). In collaboration with the GRE team and regional stakeholders, Ana works to help guide and implement business attraction and expansion projects that stimulate growth in the 9-county Finger Lakes region. She is passionate about fostering opportunity in the Finger Lakes through innovative efforts to bolster job creation.

Ana holds an MPA from Penn and a magna cum laude BA in Journalism from the Ithaca College Park School of Communications; as well as an advanced MBA certificate in Innovation Management and Technology Transfer from SUNY Empire State.

She is a co-leader of the RocCity Coalition Employment Work Group, a member of the Democrat & Chronicle Young Professional Advisory Board, and active with Rochester Young Professionals. In her capacity as Director of Young Professional Engagement for TechRochester, Ana works to encourage more young professionals in the Greater Rochester area to attend TechRochester events and programming and become members.

Brett Kinsler

Director of Healthcare Technology

Brett Kinsler has been in healthcare for over 25 years. He is a partner at Strategic Interests, LLC, a healthcare technology consulting firm, responsible for Clinical Services and Informatics. He has a background in spine care, emergency medicine, medical devices, and pharmaceutical research. Brett is certified as a healthcare technology specialist by AHIMA, an Epic certified clinical informaticist, and has a masters certificate in healthcare analytics from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He earned his DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) degree from University of Bridgeport and BA from University of Rochester. He works predominantly in interoperability, change management, and clinical transformation for hospitals and health systems.

Susan Kavanaugh

Director of Women in Tech

As a Senior Discovery Consultant for KLDiscovery, Susan consults with clients on best practices and services related to eDiscovery, Data Privacy and Data Security at the multi-national level. She is a subject matter expert in eDiscovery, litigation readiness and is an evangelist for the advancement of technology in the legal profession.

With 20 years of experience in the legal services and legal technology industry, her experience extends to overseeing all aspects of litigation, providing legal technology services, and consulting with a variety of clients on best practices related to eDiscovery, data security and data management, with an emphasis on litigation readiness. She has a broad background of legal and eDiscovery experience and skills that uniquely position her to provide insight into the challenges faced by the end-users of eDiscovery services and technology and the organizations serving them. She has extensive expertise in developing cross organizational information management strategies for compliance, large litigation and investigations. She has managed the eDiscovery Lifecycle on the national and international level. Susan maintains a strong understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), HIPPA, PCI, audit and investigations, has compliance knowledge in banking, pharma, healthcare and insurance and is very savvy with the RFP/RFI and InfoSecurity process.

Susan’s processes and workflows positioned her as a two-time (2017 & 2018) nominee for TechRochester’s Technology Woman of the Year and was named the April 2018 Democrat and Chronicle “Woman to Watch”.

Susan has made it her mission to continue the growth of the technology industry by mentoring college students and young professionals who wish to pursue a career in legal technology. She has demonstrated a passion for educating, advocating and promoting women in the adoption of technology, for her entire career.

Nicole Mahoney

Past President

Nicole Mahoney is President of Break the Ice Media, a marketing communications firm focused on helping small- to mid-sized businesses grow through effective marketing programs. She has over 20 years of experience in marketing and business management and has owned several well-known small businesses in the Rochester area and has worked with dozens more. She holds an MA in Communication from SUNY Brockport and a BA in Business Administration from RIT. Nicole is currently Vice President and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Member with TechRochester. As Vice President, Nicole works with the Board of Directors and ELT to determine TechRochester’s strategy and deliver our mission to strengthen and grow the region’s technology community.

Francine Miller

Director of Major Events

Francine Miller is a Talent Acquisition Manager at Paychex. She has over twenty-five years of experience within recruiting, along with experience in learning and development. Francine recently received her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and applied those techniques to improve a significant process that benefited her department along with demonstrating significant savings for Paychex. Francine is responsible for the overall management of the Paychex Talent Acquisition Systems and Programs, she also manages a team of Recruiters that support the Corporate functions in Rochester.

Francine is TechRochester’s Director of Major Events. In this role, Francine plans and executes TechRochester’s two signature events: Technology Woman of the Year (April) and the GREAT Awards (September).

Joe Mignano

Director at Large

Joe first joined Logical Operations (then Element K) in 2011, serving in various marketing, program management, and business development roles before joining the leadership team as VP & General Manager, Training Delivery. In this role, Joe expanded the local New Horizons Rochester franchise by developing urgency for security awareness training, and built a team capable of delivering security awareness training on a large scale to meet customer demand.

Today, Joe serves as President of New Horizons @ Logical Operations, and is responsible for the business performance and daily management of New Horizons centers located in Rochester, NY along with Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany. In this role, Joe works to identify trends in technology for which there is a skills gap that could be solved through local instructor-led training options, and then build instructor capabilities to meet those demands in all four regions. Top skills gaps in today’s workforce include cyber security, cloud, data science, artificial intelligence, and several IT service management methodologies.

Joe is passionate about helping organizations validate their cyber security awareness knowledge, and in ensuring organizations understand this responsibility is shared by the entire organization – not just the IT department.

Judy Miller

President Elect

Judy Miller is co-founder and CEO of Miller & Associates, LLC a leading IT services and workforce solutions firm.  Judy is responsible for driving M&A’s vision, strategy, and continued growth rate of 25% year over year. Judy has nearly 20 years of experience in the IT consulting field. Prior to starting Miller & Associates, she was Worldwide Director for Dr. Eli Goldratt’s Marketing Group, responsible for all sales and marketing events to business management consultancies around the globe.  Judy started her career as a consultant with Gemini Consulting, receiving exceptional training and implementation experience in the areas of business process improvement, re-engineering and transformation within fortune 500 manufacturing companies. After five years at Gemini, Judy turned her focus toward information technology managing small to mid-sized project teams responsible for the design and development of robust applications to accelerate process improvement across business units.  Miller & Associates is a nationally certified woman-owned business enterprise committed to building a talented diverse workforce. Recently, Miller & Associates was awarded to Rochester’s list of Top 100 fastest growing privately held companies, recognized as diversity supplier of the year for Carestream Health and TechRochester’s GREAT Award for technology innovation efforts for international support services team efforts in Afghanistan.  Judy and her husband James have three children and reside in Victor, NY.

Peter Platt


Peter is the president of Accountable Digital, a digital marketing firm that helps business generate real business value from their digital marketing efforts. Peter is a 25-year veteran from the ad agency industry and has been involved in Internet marketing since the early 1990s. He was part of the team that built the original web site in 1993, bought his first banner ad in 1996 (for Kodak film)! and was one of the first 100 people certified in the Google AdWords program in 2004. Peter’s experience brings together a unique combination of business development, account management, technology and strategic planning skills. Peter provides an active voice to the internet marketing community, blogging and writing for iMedia, presenting at an array of conferences (including MediaPost & iMedia) as well as providing specific sessions on mobile, social, search and other forms of internet marketing.

Drew Pond

Director of Finance/Secretary

Andrew D. Pond, CPA (Drew), is the controller for Wilmorite Management Group, LLC. During his professional career in both public accounting and industry, Drew has obtained a broad background in the real estate management, retail, manufacturing, health care, technology, service, employee benefit plan, and not-for-profit industries. He has extensive experience with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory and accounting matters.

As the Director of Finance for TechRochester, and a member of TechRochester’s Executive Leadership Team, Drew helps to manage the financial sustainability of the organization. He provides support to all of TechRochester’s Peer Groups and Operational Programs to monitor and ensure the organization’s financial goals are met.

J. Michael Wood

Director of Membership

J. Michael (Mick) Wood is an attorney at Boylan Code, LLP, where is a member of the firm’s corporate department. Mick represents clients on a wide range of business matters including business formation, business acquisition and sale, supply and distribution agreements, sales representative agreements, lease agreements, and intellectual property matters (including software development, transfer and licensing agreements). Mick also has extensive civil litigation experience. His civil litigation practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, real property disputes, commercial evictions, and trust and estate litigation.

Mick is a graduate of Cornell University and Albany Law School.

As TechRochester’s Director of Membership, Mick works to direct and oversee membership activities for TechRochester.

Kimberly Gaylord
